Orders

I missed the delivery of my order today. What should I do?

                                            The courier/postal service delivering your order usually tries to deliver on the next business day in case you miss a delivery. Please check your SMS for more details. 
                                        

Will the delivery be tried again if I am not able to collect my order the first time?

                                            Delivery of books will be re-attempted on the next working day if you cant collect your order the first time.  
                                        

The delivery of my order is delayed. What should I do?

                                            In rare occasion there may be chance of delay in order. Kindly check your email and messages for updates.  
                                        

Can I take the shipment after opening and checking the contents inside?

                                            As per our company norms, a shipment cannot be opened before delivery, but you can accept the shipment and get in touch with us later in case you have any concerns. 
                                        

What should I do if my order is approved but has not been shipped yet?

                                            We usually ship orders within 1-2 business days so that the order will reach you on time. In case your order has not been shipped within this time, kindly contact our Customer Support so that we can look into it. 
                                        

How do I know my order has been confirmed?

                                            Once you have received an e-mail and SMS your order had been successfully placed. We will also let you know as soon as the once we shipped the item(s) to you. You can track your orders from the My Orders section in your Nithra bookstore account. 
                                        

What should I do if I dont get the invoice for my order?

                                            We send a hard copy of the invoice in the shipments. You can also login to visit My Account - My Orders page nithrabooks.com to get invoices for your orders. 
                                        

How can I place an order?

                                            To place an order, please follow these steps:
1. Select the book you would like to buy.
2. Add the books to your cart or just hit Buy Now .
3. Choose or Add delivery address. Use a preferred payment mode and confirm the order.

How is a business day different from a regular day?

                                            Business days are otherwise known as working days of the week. The expected date of delivery is calculated based on business days. Typically, these include Monday through Friday. Public holidays and Sundays are usually not considered. 
                                        

What is the estimated delivery time?

                                            For NET BANKING / ATM CARD / CREDIT CARD payment – Order will be delivered within 1 to 2 working days
For CASH ON DELIVERY payment - Order will be delivered with in 5 to 7 working days

Cancellation and Returns

Can I cancel the order?

                                            Yes,  you can if your product is damaged. 
                                        

Is it possible to cancel the order before shipment?

                                            Yes you can call our helpline to cancel the order. Once you received your SMS about shipment, orders cannot be cancelled.  
                                        

How can I know the status of my refund?

                                            You know it by contacting our help desk. 
                                        

How will I get my refund for returning an item I paid for with Cash on Delivery?

                                            If u r eligible for refund, you will be refunded with online mode.

What card information does Nithra Bookstore?

                                            We dont save any card information 
                                        

What is Cash on Delivery?

                                            Cash on Delivery is a mode of payment in which you can pay cash at the time of delivery of your order. You can also pay using a credit card/ debit card if the Courier Executive carries a swiping machine. 
                                        

How do I pay using a credit or debit card?

                                            You may choose the credit card or debit card option to pay during checkout and enter the details when prompted. You would need to keep your card number, expiry date, three digit CVV number ready, which you can find on your card. For added security, you will also need to use your cards online password that is verified by Visa, MasterCard Secure Code etc. 
                                        

Can I pay with any Credit card?

                                            You can choose to pay on Nithrabooks with any Visa, MasterCard or American Express credit card issued in India. 
                                        

Can I use any Debit Card to pay for my order?

                                            You can choose to pay for your order on Nithrabooks with any Visa, MasterCard or Maestro Debit Card. 
                                        

Shopping

Can I order a product that is Out of Stock or Temporarily Unavailable?

                                            The products listed as Out of Stock or Temporarily Unavailable are not available for sale.  
                                        

Accounts

Can I add multiple email addresses and mobile numbers to log into my account?

                                            To make sure that your account is always secure, multiple email addresses cannot be added. Only one e-mail ID for an account is allowed to login. , only one mobile number and email ID can be used to log in. 
                                        

Can I use alternate mobile number?

                                             Sure. You can use 2 mobile numbers per account at Nithra Bookstore. 
                                        

Can I edit or add the address?

                                            Yes. You can add upto 5 addresses by hitting the ADD MORE ADDRESS in the Registration Details.

Can I change the email address or password?

                                            You can change the password and other information you provide at the point of registration. But you cannot change your email address. 
                                        

Can I track the package?

                                            Yes, You can track the package using tracking ID in View My Order at our Nithra Bookstore site 
                                        

Is deliver service available to remote/interior areas?

                                            No. You have to collect the package from the nearest pick points for online payment.  
                                        

Is courier service available for Cash on Delivery?

                                            No.  For CASH ON DELIVERY orders, Postal service will be provided and for ONLINE PAYMENT orders courier service will be provided.
